Utica Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing Woman

UPDATE: Har Wah Be, who was reported missing earlier this week, has been found safe in the City of Utica. Utica Police confirmed her recovery, expressing deep gratitude to the community for their remarkable response. The initial post by the department, shared over 1,000 times, played a pivotal role in reuniting Har with her family.



Officials specifically credited an attentive citizen who, after seeing the shared posts, recognized Har Wah Be based on her clothing and description. This individual's actions were instrumental in alerting authorities to her location.



Once located, Har Wah Be was evaluated by the Utica Fire Department and subsequently transported home. The department expressed its thanks to the public, whose vigilance and efforts were invaluable in ensuring Har's safe return.


 

UTICA, NY – The Utica Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in locating 36-year-old Har Wah Be, who has been reported missing. Har was last seen leaving her residence on the 700 block of Humbert Street on November 3, 2024.



A photograph of Har Wah Be has been provided to aid in the search. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Utica Police Department’s Juvenile Aid Unit at 315-223-3561.
