Utica Police Arrest Suspect in Connection to Keyamonie Davis Homicide

UTICA, NY – The Utica Police Department, in collaboration with the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office and with support from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, executed search warrants on two locations on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. The operations were part of the ongoing investigation into the November 8, 2024, homicide of 17-year-old Keyamonie Davis.

The coordinated efforts and evidence gathered led to the arrest of Quadir Pinkney, 18, of Utica. Pinkney has been charged with:
• Murder in the Second Degree
• Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree
Police have indicated that additional charges are likely to be filed against Pinkney as the investigation progresses.
Police also revealed that they anticipate further arrests in connection with the case. The investigation remains active as officials work to bring all responsible parties to justice.
