Two-Vehicle Accident in Floyd Leaves Syracuse Motorcyclist Injured

FLOYD, NY – An accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck occurred on Route 365 in the Town of Floyd on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Deputies were dispatched to the scene around 10:34 a.m. near Middle Road and McKern Road.
The incident involved Phoebe R. Kline, a Syracuse resident, who lost control of her 2008 motorcycle while exiting a driveway. Kline entered State Route 365 and collided with a 2014 Ford pickup truck driven by James E. Patton of Holland Patent, who was traveling eastbound on the roadway.
Kline sustained a head injury and received initial treatment from AmCare Ambulance at the scene. She was later airlifted to SUNY Upstate Hospital by Mercy Flight for further care.
