Three Arrested on Felony Drug Charges in New Hartford Investigation



 

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. — A drug investigation in New Hartford resulted in the arrest of three men on felony drug charges following a police raid on February 27, 2025.



Early Thursday morning, members of the New Hartford Police Department Criminal Investigation Division and Uniformed Patrol Division executed a search warrant at 63 Oakdale Ave. in response to suspected drug activity at the residence. During the search, police seized quantities of crack cocaine, drug scales, and packaging materials.

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (Class A Misdemeanor)


Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree (2 counts, Class A Misdemeanor)



Jazmond Davis, 42


Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (Class B Felony)


Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (Class A Misdemeanor)


Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree (2 counts, Class A Misdemeanor)



Desmond Washington, 48


Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (Class B Felony)


Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Degree (2 counts, Class D Felony)


Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (Class A Misdemeanor)


Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree (2 counts, Class A Misdemeanor)



All three men were processed at the New Hartford Police Department and transported to the Oneida County Jail pending arraignment in Oneida County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.



The New Hartford Police Department expressed gratitude to the Utica Police Department Special Investigations Unit and the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit for their assistance in the investigation, which led to the shutdown of a suspected drug-dealing residence in the community.
