Serious Accident Shuts Down Broad Street; One Dead, One Injured

UTICA, NY – November 24, 2024 – Emergency crews responded to a serious accident on Broad Street early this morning, near Casa Imports between Milgate and Bacon Streets. The incident, which occurred shortly before 8 a.m., left one person dead and another seriously injured.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered a heavily damaged vehicle with two occupants who had been ejected during the crash. One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other sustained severe injuries and was transported to Wynn Hospital for emergency care. Their condition remains unknown at this time.
