Multiple Injuries Reported in Route 365 Crash in Trenton


 

TRENTON, N.Y. – March 24, 2025 – A two-car crash on State Route 365 near Prospect Road resulted in multiple injuries Monday morning, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol.


Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 9:06 a.m. on March 24, 2025, following reports of the accident. Their investigation determined that Alisha Burns, 31, of Remsen, was driving a 2006 Toyota Corolla eastbound when she lost control due to slushy conditions and black ice. Her vehicle spun into the westbound lane, colliding with a 2017 Subaru Outback driven by Sarah Gaasch, 41, also of Remsen.


Two juveniles were transported to Wynn Hospital by Kunkel Ambulance. Burns was airlifted to Upstate Hospital by Mercy Flight, while Gaasch was taken to Wynn Hospital by Boonville Ambulance for evaluation. Authorities say none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.



Assisting agencies at the scene included the New York State Police, Barneveld Volunteer Fire Department, Remsen Volunteer Fire Department, Mercy Flight, Star Ambulance, Kunkel Ambulance, and Boonville Ambulance.
