Man Dies Following Stabbing on Lansing Street

UTICA, NY – Utica Police and Fire units responded to a stabbing on the 300 block of Lansing Street at approximately 7:50 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The individual was transported to Wynn Hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts, they tragically succumbed to their injuries.
The Utica Police Crime Scene Unit is currently processing evidence at the scene, and the case has been assigned to the Major Crimes Unit. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
This is the second homicide Utica Police are investigating in a day. Earlier in the afternoon, police were called to the 1100 block of Brinckerhoff Avenue after a male was shot in the chest.
