Firefighters Brave Frigid Temperatures to Battle Barneveld House Fire

Barneveld, NY — Braving subfreezing temperatures, firefighters worked Tuesday evening to contain a fire at 107 Mappa Avenue.
The call came in around 7:24 p.m., prompting a response from the Barneveld Fire Department, with additional support from Holland Patent, Stittville, Floyd, and Remsen fire departments. Emergency personnel set up operations under challenging conditions.
STaR Ambulance was placed on standby as a precaution, but fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
