FIGHT ERUPTS OVERNIGHT IN MARCY; TWO INJURED

MARCY, NY – A large fight reportedly involving around 60 people broke out overnight in Marcy. Authorities received a report of the brawl, which included an initial claim of someone being stabbed in the face.



Troopers from the New York State Police and deputies from the Oneida County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene on River Road near Kenwood Road at approximately 12:45 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old male with a laceration to his chin. Another individual was found with facial lacerations and possible missing teeth.



Two Kunkel Ambulances were dispatched to the scene to evaluate the injured parties. The extent of their injuries and the circumstances leading up to the altercation remain unclear.
